Penghargaan Musik Korea kembali digelar, dimana acara ini rencananya akan disiarkan langsung pada 1 Maret pukul 6 sore. KST. Penghargaan Musik Korea sendiri akan berfokus pada pencapaian musik sebagai kriteria utamanya dan juga lebih mementingkan album dan lagu itu sendiri dibanding dengan angka penjualan sebagai kriteria utama dalam menentukan pemenang setiap tahun.
