MTV Europe Music Awards telah dinominasikan BTS untuk empat penghargaan berbeda sekaligus tahun ini, termasuk Best Grup, sebuah penghargaan yang telah mereka kumpulkan selama tiga tahun terakhir, juga Best Pop, dan Biggest Fans bersama dengan BLACKPINK.
Khusus untuk dua anggota BLACKPINK yakni Lisa dan Rose dinominasikan secara terpisah untuk penghargaan K-Pop Terbaik tahun ini.
MTV Europe Music Awards 2021 sendiri rencananya akan ditayangkan pada 14 November pukul 3 sore. ET, dan pemungutan suara dibuka di situs web resmi mereka yakni mtvema.com hingga 10 November pukul 17.59. ET.
